HP to make alterations their ink cartridge combo pack range

Changes include replacing 301 and 364 Combo pack, as well as releasing a new ’62’ range of ink cartridges.

The first change that HP are making is to discontinue their 301 black & colour combo packs as well as their 364 black, cyan, magenta & yellow combo packs. These will both be replaced by packs which will include 10 sheets of 13 x 18 cm HP photo paper along with 5 printable envelopes along side the original contents of the current sets.

The new HP J3M81AE will completely replace the current 301 pack, and the new HP J3M82AE we succeed the current 364 four cartridge combo pack. This means that if you want to purchase ink cartridges without the added extras, it looks as if you will have to buy the individual cartridges instead.

These changes are due to take place starting in mid September 2014, with the old sets being discontinued from November onwards.

Also on the agenda for HP in September is the release of what seems to be a whole new cartridge range. There is little information available at this time, but we do know that the range is numbered 62, and consists of black and tri-colour cartridges. HP will be releasing a new  J3M80AE Combo Pack, sticking to the new format of containing the black and colour cartridges as well as photo paper and envelopes.

We aren’t yet sure of which HP printers these cartridges will be compatible with, but keep an eye on our website for any new information that arises.
