The current combo packs are to be replaced completely by new sets with the new part number J3M81AE.
The new packs will contain the same black and colour ink cartridges as the current range, but will also have some added extras. Included in the box will be 10 sheets of HP photo paper as well as 5 printable white envelopes.
These ink cartridge and paper combo packs will be available from mid-September, with the current CR340EE packs being discontinued all together in November 2014. This means that there will be no option to buy one of the convenient combo packs without the added paper and envelopes.
This alteration is part of a wider change being made by HP. They will be making the same changes to their current 364 combo packs, adding both photo paper and envelopes to that set. Also, the next couple of months sees the arrival of the new HP 62 ink cartridges. It is not yet known whether HP will be making similar changes across the rest of their combo pack range.
